Traffic

With an influx of people moving farther west, addressing increased traffic, especially along major corridors, needs to be a priority for municipal leaders. Roy City needs to plan for expansions that will be needed in the future to avoid congestion along major corridors. The city will need to cooperate with the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) during their work on state roads.

 

I have already reached out about a concerning traffic condition on a UDOT road along Emma Russell Park and 5500 South. I asked for a traffic study to begin the process of mitigation. The area has been noted for a traffic study. This example shows my engagement with the governmental process of addressing traffic concerns.
